In previous years, the City of Arbyrd hosted an annual Cotton Pickin' Festival. The very first festival featured the Kentucky Headhunters who call Arbyrd and Cardwell home.
The Arbyrd Cotton Pickin' Festival has been host to many big names in country music including the Kentucky Headhunters, Lee Greenwood, Trent Tomlinson, Run Away June, Ronnie McDowell and Jannie Frickie.
The future of the Arbyrd Cotton Pickin Festival is uncertain. With the onset of COVID-19 the festival was cancelled in September 2020. Since that time, no decision has been made about the future of the festival.
